DCWS - February 8 Meeting


"Broken needle day is a Japanese holiday (Feb 8) for pausing to be mindful of how much our needles make possible for us." A threaded needle

It's our first 2022 meeting and many members are happy to Show and Tell  their latest projects.

Johanne had three items to show us : a red child sweater, a bag and a woven blue scarf, 





Alix showed us a multicolour rug she made with waste yarn.
 

Cathy did a green (sage) shawl and a pair of fingerless glove knitted with wool she spinned.



Carol has been busy knitting tuques!! 


Johanne made fingerless gloves.


Helen showed us a woven red scarf she made (100% linen)


Heidi woven two scarfs (100 % tencel).


Marie-José presented a handwoven tapestry of a sheep (100% wool - 14 x 14 inches).
