DCWS - November 23rd Meeting

Our members have been very busy!!! We had a rich Show and Tell as you will see.

Heidi had two items to show us:

  • a beautiful shawl made with a merino and silk wool.
  • a shawl woven with two different wools: wool for socks and a merino wool.

Marie-José showed us a small bag she sewed. The aim of the exercise was to integrate one of her tapestries.

Jan showed us a sweater she made after spinning and dyeing the wool.

Johanne showed us two items she made: slippers and a blue tuque. The gray tuque has been made by Carole.

JoAnne showed us a lace neck warmer knitted with hand spun merino and silk wool (3 colors). JoAnne also donated a book to our Guild library: Printing on Fabric: Techniques with Screens, Stencils, Inks and Dyes by Jen Swearington. Thanks JoAnne!!!

Ellen showed us two shawls she made with merino and silk wool.

Thanks you all for sharing your accomplishments!!!

ANYONE is welcome to come to our DCWS  meetings - share some Show & Tell, Review magazines and/or borrow books from our library, etc. Find out about future planned meetings HERE.
