SCHEDULED ACTIVITY AND SHOW & TELL
Welcome to the DCWS 2024-2025 first meeting! It was a perfect time to Show & Tell all about our projects completed during the Summer.
Needless to say that the room was full of energy and joy during our first meeting of the season.

Our members are preparing a superb Show & Sale event. There will be demonstrations and many items for sale.

Our members have outdone themselves again and are happy to show off their accomplishments.
Dianne showed us a very nice and colorful rug hooking piece.
Mariyn proudly showed us a litte puppy she knitted with wool she has spun. She won the Public Choice Award in the North and South Saanich Agricultural Society exhibition for her achievement. Congratulations Marilyn!!
Helen knitted many shawls. She spun and knitted the first one.
Marie-José has been exploring kindle weaving this summer. She showed us bracelets she made.

Cathy talked to us about her late mother-in-law and how she loved to crochet granny squares. Here is a blanket which has be assembled by members of her family.
She also showed us an impressive baby shawl she received a few year ago.
Also a colorwork knitted hat she made. She said that after wetting the hat, she died it on a bowl.
And finally, a beautiful sweater.
