DCWS Meeting: April 11th

SHOW & TELL 

Our membres answered our invitation to present their recent projects and other older ones.

Look by yourself! 

Joyce showed us placemats she made using the Warp Face technique (8/8 cotton).



JoAnne showed us bamboo yarn the spun and her recent knitting projects (socks, tuques and shawl).



Elizabeth has been busy learning to weave dish cloth and placemats using many techniques including "Log Cabin" and 2/2 twill.




Cathy showed us the yarn she handspun. She is thinking of knitting a shawl.



And the showed us a beautiful sweated she knitted.


Alix showed us 100% Alpaca yarn she has spun on her electric wheel.



Suzanne showed us a colorful double weave project she made while being in Guatemala (100% cotton). She explained that each Guatemalan Huipil village has its own different design.



Johanne showed us an impressive collective knitting project completed in 2000.
