WHAT A GREAT SHOW & TELL
In addition to the joy of meeting for the first time in 2023, our members were proud to Show & Tell their latest projects. Afterwards, we reviewed the latest magazines. Very interesting first meeting of the year.
Lynne and Johanne presented the baskets they did in collaboration.
Joyce presented a beautiful pink scarf woven in twill block with Tencel and Zephyr.
JoAnne has been very busy during the past few weeks!
She made 3 tuques (knitted tube pattern).
Afterwards, she presented tea towels woven with cotton.
Then, a knitted Christmas ball.
And finally a cawl knitted with alpaca and wool.
Helen presented a scarf woven with cotton made out of recycled jeans.
Alix presented a knitted vest (two colors, knit one stich below structure)
Marilyn presented many Fair Isle projects such as hat, mittens, glove.
What a great way to share with everyone present and learn while asking questions about the techniques used. It is a great way to find new ideas for our own future projects.
