May Meeting & the Weaving Wagon

The DCWS Guild had their May executive/general business meeting followed by a great 'Show & Tell'.    We are holding elections for Executive positions for 2018/19 at our June 5th meeting.   There are still a couple of positions open if you would like to become a member of the team and help shape the coming year.

Diane Thorpe was in attendance to talk about the 'Weaving Wagon' a new initiative from the Community Arts Council.  The 'WW' will be housed at the ARTSEA Gallery at Tulista Park.  Its purpose is to engage the public in a hands on experience, while attending the gallery.  What better experience than the therapeutic craft of weaving!
